Congratulations to Connexcel for gaining full AEGIS accreditation, having been through the two stage AEGIS inspection process. Connexcel is a company based in the UK with a focus exclusively on the British and Chinese education markets. Originally from China but now firmly rooted in the UK, founders John Zhang and Katie Nie pride themselves on their deep understanding of the cultures and education systems of both nations. Welcome to AEGIS!
The AEGIS Spring Conference took place at Holborn Bars on Thursday 15th March 2018 and was fully booked with over 85 delegates. Speakers included Julie Robinsion - ISC; Helen Clews - British Council; Clodagh Wilkinson - Bournemouth Borough Council; and Dai Durbridge - Browne Jacobson. All our speakers helped us to raise awareness of the importance of AEGIS accredited guardians and the safeguarding of international students. The child is our absolute priority in everything we do at AEGIS.
We have received some encouraging feedback about the day:

We have also introduced new fees which make the process more affordable for smaller companies just starting out in this sector.
Our aim is to share best practice in the guardianship of international students. The child is our priority!

Today, Yasemin is presenting to heads and school staff at Educate Forum about the importance of accredited guardians.
