AEGIS offers online basic safeguarding training for guardianship organisation staff and homestays. Unlike the generic ‘off the peg’ safeguarding courses available from other providers, the course is bespoke and written for the purpose of providing quality safeguarding training for guardians and homestays, delivered by safeguarding practitioner, Adam Lubbock of Kings River Education. The AEGIS member rate for the training is just £20 per person (£25 per person for non-members), with a certificate awarded on successful completion of the course. Price reductions are available for multiple purchases.
The course satisfies AEGIS safeguarding training requirements and is a slightly higher level than basic awareness (previously referred to as level 1).
