Box Hill School is an independent coeducational boarding and day school situated in the village of Mickleham near Dorking, Surrey, England. The school has approximately 425 pupils aged 11–18. We welcome Box Hill School as an AEGIS member!
Box Hill School has always attracted a wide variety of students, in geographical, linguistic, ethnic and intellectual terms. The focus on Global Citizenship is key to the school’s ethos. The school’s aim is for about a third of our school to be from the international community, (not mother tongue English) so as to promote peace and understanding between people. Boarding is integral to the school’s ideal of internationalism.
The school has a thriving boarding community and offers activities every single weekend, mostly on a Sunday, whilst Saturdays allow students to quietly study, before enjoying the grounds or going to one of the local towns.
AEGIS membership demonstrates the school’s commitment to safe guardianship and hosting of international students.
