By Aegis UK October 8, 2024

The lead inspector reported,

“The Director offers a highly individualised guardianship service and she is able to spend time with students and parents to prepare them for taking up a place in the UK school system and explaining laws and policies, especially around online and travel safety. The Director also works closely with school staff and boarding teams, taking care to introduce herself and maintain good communication by email and visits. She endeavours to take students to school on their first day and maintains regular contact with them, arranging visits, accommodation and transport. The Director attends parents’ meetings, concerts, online meetings and music and sport events. When a student faces difficulties at school, she will liaise closely with staff to provide additional support when needed. The Director is also the DSL and as such is suitably trained.”

Preliminary accreditation ensures that the essential standards are in place in order to provide educational guardianship.
