IQ Consultancy is an international educational agency providing guardianship services and has offices all over the world including Russia, Turkey, Armenia, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and the UK.
The lead inspector reported,
“Great importance is placed on communication. Students and parents are provided with orientation sessions in August to help prepare them for life in the UK, and these are now to include existing students speaking of their first-hand experiences. Numerous examples were given of how the guardianship organisation has supported students’ wellbeing. Regular contact is maintained with students, parents, and school staff, with the Director explaining how this is especially important with the youngest students. Students are reported to often contact for a chat as their guardians all speak their first language…The DSL is fully aware of the need to report any concerns to relevant agencies, such as the LADO. Staff understand the risks that students may face, such as whilst using devices.”
