Preliminary level accreditation means that the essential requirements are in place to offer safe guardianship to international students and ensures that: safer recruitment procedures are followed; homestays vetted and DBS checked; insurance is in place; safeguarding training undertaken by staff and homestays; and that policies and procedures are in place. Yes, it is an extremely thorough process!
Yumiko Da Silva, the owner of Robin Education Ltd, has been an educational guardian of Japanese students for more than 10 years. She has been supporting children of all ages studying at various boarding schools. Being a Japanese guardian provides the support and reassurance that Japanese parents and students are looking for.
