“Prior to students coming over to study, care is taken to ensure that the Director and Educational Guardian fully understand the backgrounds of their students. This includes checking that parents have informed them of any specific needs a child may have. The Director and Educational Guardian know the school staff well and have effective channels of communication. This helps ensure that their students’ needs are met.
The guardianship organisation offers a full service that includes ongoing support for students, emergency support, transport (including airport pick up), arranging homestay accommodation for holiday periods where required, attendance at parents evening, translation services and acting as a link between the school and parents. The Director gave examples of how the guardianship organisation supports students as required, for instance by swiftly helping them with requests linked to their studies or health concerns.”
