“Victoria Guardianship Ltd place great importance on ensuring that students are well cared for and supported while studying in the UK. Prior to arrival they invite parents and students to a pre-arrival meeting, which usually takes over three hours. This covers a range of topics, including an introduction to the company, travel guidance, medical information, cultural differences and life in the UK. Parents and students also meet their guardians before they arrive in the UK. This helps both parties get to know each other and makes it easier for students to approach their guardian with any questions or concerns they may have….Students’ mental health needs are catered for well. In their first term, every student has a meeting with a mentor which enables the guardianship organisation to explain the support they can offer to them should they ever have a concern. This is extremely useful as it enables students to understand who they can turn to before a problem arises.”
